A collective design team of the School of Architecture, UHCDC, and UHHilo developed the ʻŌlelo Hawai‘i campus masterplan, an integrated educational system design project that cultivates the legacy of Hawaiian language and learning. This project earned two architectural design awards: an internationally recognized 2023 Fast Company Innovation by Design Award and a locally AIA Honolulu’s 65th Annual Design Award of Excellence,
