ExperienceDean of the School of Architecture 1992-2007, Ray Yeh previously taught at the University of Oklahoma where he was Dean of the multi-disciplinary College of Architecture, and at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo where he was the Head of the Department of Architecture. His professional activities have included serving as Director of the Architectural Design Research Center at the University of Oklahoma; Principal of W.H. Raymond Yeh & Associates; Vice-President and Director of Design of Sorey, Hill, Binnicker (OKC); and a design architect with Ellerbe Architects (Minneapolis - St. Paul). Professional honors include election to the College of Fellows of the AIA and as a Design Fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts; and design awards from the AIA and the Guild of Religious Architecture. His work has been exhibited and published in various professional journals including Northwest Architects, Faith and Form, and Progressive Architecture. He was also a director of the AIA in California, AIA chapter president in Oklahoma, and chair of the AIA National Committee of Architects in Education. In addition, he has had extensive experience in NAAB accreditation visits and in the NCARB professional licensure examination process. His recent academic and professional activities have included serving as Chair of the Dean Search Committee for the UH College of Engineering in 1999; Chair of the Dean Search Committee for UH School of Hawaiian and Asian and Pacific Studies in 1997; and as a juror of design award programs of the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Landscape Architects
