-San Juan Capistrano Regional Library, San Juan Capistrano, CA (a 1.8M, 10,000 square foot project won in invited competition). Production Team Member.

-The Republic Building, San Antonio, Texas (A design/feasibility study for a 1 million square foot banking, office, and retail development). Design Team Member.

-Michael C. Carlos Hall, Emory University, Atlanta, GA (a 2.6 million dollar renovation of the university’s Museum of Art and Archaeology. Designer.

-Object and Exhibition Design. Sunar side chair (winner of Progressive Architecture International Furniture Design Competition Award). Project Designer. Allesi Tea Service (one of a collection of silver tea services commissioned for traveling exhibition). 04 College of Engineering Research Council Seed Grant, UHM (with Gregor Fischer, Asst. Prof., UHM Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering). “Modular building technologies for green and cost-efficient housing structures using advanced composites and recycled materials.” Project Funded in amount of $20,000.

04 University Research Council Faculty Travel Fund. A $1,400.00 award was made to allow travel to Oakland, California to deliver a paper entitled “Emulating Natural Processes in Industrial Production: Considerations of Mass-Customization as an Influence in Ecological Design Pedagogy” at the Eco-Wave conference in Oakland, CA.

03 Research Relations Fund, UHM, Spring 2003, Research Grant Proposal (with Jin-Ho Park, Asst. Prof., UHM School of Architecture), “A Full-Scale Construction of Rudolph Schindler’s Panel Post Construction System, 1933-42.” The project is concerned with R.M. Schindler’s Post Panel Construction Method (PPCM) of 1933-42. Project Funded in amount of $3,200.00 for the period May 1, 2003 – April 30, 2004.
