Historic Preservation Certificate Admissions

Applicants for admission to the Historic Preservation Program should possess an academic or employment background in preservation-related disciplines or demonstrate a strong interest and motivation to pursue such studies. There are no specific prerequisites, other than possession of an undergraduate degree.

The deadline for Fall admission is March 1; the deadline for Spring admission is September 1

Prospective applicants must apply for classified admission to the program through the Office Graduate Education.

Note: Official transcripts are required when students are admitted to the program. Official transcripts can be mailed to the Graduate Division directly from the school, or they can be sent electronically via transcript services such as Parchment or the National Student Clearinghouse if the school offers those options.

  • GRE scores and two letters of recommendation for graduate certificate applicants are not required.
