Don and Laura Goo Praxis Prize

The Don and Laura Goo Praxis Prize was established in 2018 to support Arch 747P praxis interns, and awards the top three Praxis presentations with cash awards based on merit and research potential. Don and Laura Goo have supported the School of Architecture for decades and have been especially dedicated to advancing its practicum program.

A jury comprised of distinguished practitioners and educators evaluates all ARCH 747 final presentations after the conclusion of each spring praxis semester. Selections are based on, but not limited to: quality of design inquiry, innovation and originality, potential to advance architectural knowledge and practice, clarity of research methodology and process, coherent and complementarity written and visual content. Winners are announced at events in the following academic year at the AIAS PAN (Paper Architecture Night) and at the annual SoA Scholarship event.
