Architectural Research Centers Consortium King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural + Environmental Design Research
At the end of each academic year, one remarkable student is honored with the Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC) King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural + Environmental Design Research. Selection of either a graduate or undergraduate-level student is based on criteria that acknowledge innovation, integrity, and scholarship in architectural and/or environmental design research.
This award was named in honor of the late Jonathan King, co-founder and first president of AARC. The AARC is an international association of architectural research centers, academies and organizations. It was founded to understand and explore how to systematically link the process of architectural design to human satisfaction. There is a long-standing commitment to the advancement of architectural research that aspires its members to improve the quality of life in the built environment.
