The City and County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency (CCSR)—in partnership with Hawaiʻi Green Infrastructure Authority and Hā Sustainability—will be hosting “Energizing Oʻahu: A Three-Part Workshop Series on Clean Energy Workforce, Residential, and Commercial Buildings” on February 26–27 in Honolulu. Josephine “Jojo” Briones who works in the SoA ERDL was recently hired by Hā Sustainability, a Hawaiʻi-based sustainability consulting firm, to support the coordination of a Clean Energy Workshop series for the City and County of Honolulu’s Office. The workshops are designed to strengthen Hawaiʻi’s clean energy sector and support the advancement of the State of Hawaii’s clean energy transition. By convening clean energy sector organizations, contractors, technology providers, innovators, financing partners, and City and State representatives, the series will focus on improving coordination across sectors and translating policy and program goals into practical, on-the-ground action.
