Mahalo to Bill Chapman

After seven years of service as Interim Dean, Professor Bill Chapman has stepped down from his leadership role and returned to the faculty. Throughout his time as Interim Dean, Professor Chapman provided steady leadership and continuity, keeping the School of Architecture on a stable course and successfully guiding it through a period of uncertainty—including helping the school avoid a proposed merger. He now resumes his role as Professor of Architecture and Director of the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, where his expertise and passion will continue to enrich our students and programs. We thank Dr. Chapman for his leadership and look forward to his continued contributions in this next chapter.
