
Tropical Modernism Revisited | A Global Perspective, is an architecture symposium looking at the regional variations of the Modernist Movement at midcentury in the tropics, including Mexico, Brazil, Africa, Middle East, South Asia, South-East Asia, Australia, and back here in Hawai’i.
The principal sponsor is the Doin Kwon Endowment Fund. The event is hosted by the School of Architecture at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, and the Hawai’i chapter of DOCOMOMO_US.
