After being featured in The Haigo and Irene Shen Architecture Gallery (Aug 21-Sep 29, 2023), the exhibition on Integration between Architecture & Landscape by Professor Emeritus Pu Maio has moved to AIA Center for Architecture, 828 Fort Street Mall, Suite 100. The exhibition will be open from Oct 6 – Nov 21, 2023.

Professor Miao has been a major force in architectural design in the UH SoA program since he first joined in 1994 until his retirement in 2020. His interest and dedication have primarily focused on how modern architecture is localized in the Asia Pacific region. As a great educator, he has successfully crossed boundaries between theory and practice.

This exhibition is comprised of six highly selected projects that Professor Miao designed in China, including a few of his students’ works. Throughout the exhibition, you’ll be better able to understand and simultaneously enjoy the relationship between indoor and outdoor environments, architecture and landscape.
