Spring 2023 ARCH 436, Design Exchange course provided a week of design lectures and workshops, and touring peace memorials in Japan for 12 undergraduate students and one faculty member at the Nagaoka Institute of Design (NID).  Three weeks later, a delegation of five students and one faculty member from NID arrived on the Mānoa campus for a reciprocated Hawaiian experience incorporating historical and cultural significance.
