Our heartfelt congratulations go to Shun Ishimine, MLA 2021—recipient of the inaugural Thomas S. Witten, FASLA Pūlama ʻĀina Award—for his project “Restoring Symbiotic Aquaculture.” The award recognizes an MLA graduate whose capstone or thesis project focuses on regional or community planning and urban design with an emphasis on environmental sustainability and resiliency for our islands.
