MLA STUDENT KIANA DAI RECEIVES 2021 LAF WOOLSEY SCHOLARSHIP

We are delighted to join the national Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) in announcing that Kiana Dai—a student in our Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program—was selected as the 2021 recipient of the Hawaii Chapter ASLA/David T. Woolsey Scholarship. This year’s scholarship cycle represents the second time that this long-standing award goes to a landscape architecture student enrolled in UH’s MLA program.

The Hawaii Chapter ASLA/David T. Woolsey Scholarship was established by the Hawaii Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects in memory of David Woolsey, former principal in the firm of Woolsey, Miyabara & Associates. It is meant to advance landscape architecture students’ education and professional development.
