We are delighted to share that Jonathan ‘Malu’ Stanich, a member of our inaugural Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) student cohort, was selected as the 2020 recipient of the national Landscape Architecture Foundation’s (LAF) “Hawaiʻi Chapter ASLA/David T. Woolsey Scholarship.”
This year’s LAF scholarship cycle represents the first time that this long-standing scholarship goes to a landscape architecture student who is enrolled in UH’s new MLA program.
The Hawaiʻi Chapter ASLA/David T. Woolsey Scholarship was established in memory of David T. Woolsey, an alumnus of California Polytechnic University and former principal in the firm of Woolsey, Miyabara & Associates and is meant to advance a landscape architecture student’s education and professional development.
