The 2019 UH Mānoa Awards Ceremony was held on Monday, April 29, 2019 to recognize the dedication and service of students, faculty and staff committed to enhancing the University’s mission of excellence.
Assistant Professor Lance Walters was presented with the Regent’s Medal for Excellence in Teaching. Professor Walters was among six awardees to receive this award as a tribute to faculty members who exhibit and extraordinary level of subject mastery and scholarship, teaching effectiveness and creativity and personal values that benefit students.
“I’m very honored to receive this award and be able to stand alongside so many impressive UH faculty. I’d like to extend my deepest thanks to the students, faculty and professionals who nominated, supported, and continue to inspire me,” said Walters.
