On October 5, 2018 the Hawaii Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) awarded the inaugural Award of Excellence to University of Hawaii Doctor of Architecture student Jonathan Quach. This award represents the highest recognition in Hawaii ASLA’s newly established student design awards category.

Jonathan Quach received the Award of Excellence for innovative landscape design work from his UH Manoa Fall 2017 ARCH 415 concentration design studio on Wahiawa Freshwater Park (instructor: Associate Professor Judith Stilgenbauer).
