On October 5, 2018 the Hawai‘i Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) awarded an inaugural Honor Award to University of Hawai‘i Doctor of Architecture student Jonathan Quach.

Jonathan received the Honor Award for extraordinary analytical and process driven landscape and ecological design work in Kapālama Studio, an intermediate design studio (ARCH341), which focused on generating restorative contemporary programs along the Kapālama Canal in urban Honolulu.
